Onsite BabyCare

Saginaw Covenant Academy recognizes the barrier that young parents face when it comes to child care and attending school. To fully support our students and stay aligned with our mission, we have a separate onsite BabyCare room in our building so that young parents may bring their children to school with them, and work on their classes while caring for their children in a quiet, secluded area.

Children 0-5 years old are allowed to be brought to school with an accompanying parent. We have toys, changing table, separate bathroom in the BabyCare room, and tables with computers for our young parent students. Our young parents will still have access to our teachers for in-person instruction and assistance with their classes. We want our young parents to have peace of mind knowing they can complete their education while being actively involved with their children without the worry of cost and availability of child care.
